Did you know many of our CTE programs offer industry standard credentials to better prepare students for college and career? Way to go, Tara Damewood! Congratulations to Tara Damewood for being the first student at Rockwood High School and in the Roane County School District to take and pass the Business Office Technology Certification exam! She has worked hard to master her Microsoft skills and knowledge of technology in the business world.
We would like to thank Hunter McClure, Digital Marketing Specialist from Pilot Company, and 2015 RCHS grad for speaking with Mr. Kroeger’s Marketing class. Students were able to have a dialogue about marketing and digital media with a local, large corporation. We are always grateful to our local industry partners and graduates for sharing with our students!
CTE in action! Mr. Dugger’s HVAC class is learning about correct polarity and voltage with circuits in a breaker box. Everyday, CTE students are experiencing career-focused activities through hands on learning activities in our shops and labs!
