Roane County Schools is proud to join schools across the nation in celebrating Red Ribbon Week 2025, observed October 23–31, a time dedicated to promoting healthy, drug-free lifestyles among students. Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug prevention awareness campaign in the United States.
Throughout the week, schools across Roane County are hosting themed dress-up days, classroom lessons, and schoolwide events to encourage students to make positive choices and live drug-free. Teachers and counselors are leading conversations about the importance of staying healthy, making good decisions, and supporting one another.
The district encourages parents and community members to participate by talking with students about making safe choices and by supporting activities at local schools. Together, Roane County is helping students remember that drug-free is the way to be!
