RCS Coordinated School Health partnered with TWRA to present the NASP (National Archery in the School Program) to our PE teachers to become Basic Archery Instructors for grades 4-12. NASP promotes student education, physical education and participation in the life-long sport of Archery. Roane County School's PE teachers enjoyed the November 5th staff development day as they learned that Archery is another way to improve student motivation, attention, behavior, attendance and focus. RCS PE Teachers are RockStars!





At Sensitive Santa, they understand that some children may have sensitivities or special needs that can make traditional Santa visits challenging. That's why they've created a safe and welcoming space where every child can enjoy the wonder of meeting Santa. As fall approaches, our students head back to the classroom, and it’s also time for our board members to kick off the new school year by participating in TSBA' s Fall District Meetings. These meetings cover critical topics such as legislative and legal updates, TISA funding, 3rd grade proficiency, and essential information regarding our teachers.
We are truly grateful for the dedication of all our Board Members and their unwavering commitment to the students of Roane County!


Thanks to the kindness and giving hearts of Roane County another full trailer of water is on its way to Cocke County! When a community comes together for those in need it speaks volumes!
