Today, the incredible generosity of the people of Roane County was on full display. A total of 1,260 cases of water and $2,680.00 in cash donations were collected at our designated drop-off points. These contributions are already en route to help support our fellow Tennesseans in the flood-impacted areas.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in today’s efforts. Your kindness is making a real difference.
Thank you for standing with us!

We are set up and ready to receive donations at the "Gravel Pit" in Kingston! Donations will be accepted until 12:00PM and delivered to the victims of the catastrophic flooding this afternoon. Thank you for your generosity and support!

In collaboration with the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, Roane County Schools, the Roane County Education Foundation, and the cities of Harriman, Kingston, and Rockwood, the Roane County Office of Emergency Services is seeking your support to aid victims of the catastrophic flooding affecting neighboring counties.
We are currently responding to an urgent request from the Cocke County School District for water. If you are able to help, please drop off bottled water at any of the following locations by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, October 1st):
• Harriman Fire Station 1
• Rockwood City Fire Station
• Oliver Springs Fire Station
• Kingston Gravel Pits (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
At this time, we are only collecting water. Before gathering any additional supplies, we will wait for guidance from county and city officials in the affected areas to ensure that we are meeting the specific needs of those impacted by this disaster. While we understand that many people are eager to help, it is crucial to coordinate efforts in a way that truly benefits those in need.
Additionally, several local churches are working directly with congregations in the impacted communities. You may contact them for further opportunities to assist.
Thank you for your generosity and support during this difficult time.
