The dates for this fair are Feb. 21st and Feb. 24-28th (please note the website below says it begins on the 19th in error).
The fair will be open each day it is here from 8 am-4:30 pm.
We will also be open until 6 pm on Feb. 27th during family literacy night.
Students may shop during the day using cash or eWallets which can be set up using the website below.

Extra recess is always a treat, but when you earn it for having better attendance than your school staff, it’s even sweeter! Our first grade students earned 30 extra minutes of recess for their 96% attendance rate over the staff percentage of 95%. We greatly appreciate our families seeing that students are at school, when they can be, on time and ready to learn! #attendancematters

Happy New Year, BES Families! We hope everyone has had a wonderful break! We look forward to seeing students on Monday, January 6, 2025, for our first day of the second semester. As a reminder, we do not have a Before and After School Program (BASP) currently at our school. We will update families if and when that changes.


Tomorrow, Friday, December 20, 2024, is a half day for students. We will begin dismissal at 11:41 AM. Our Before and After School Program (BASP) will not be open tomorrow and is closed until further notice. We look forward to seeing our students back at school on January 6, 2025. Good Afternoon, Bowers Families! Our students begin their i-Ready Winter Benchmark tomorrow. Throughout the week, students will take a reading and math diagnostic to show what they've learned from August until now. Please have students at school, on time, and encouraged to do their best! We appreciate your help and support by ensuring they are ready to go!

Our Thanksgiving Break is different this year than it has been in the past. Instead of 3 days for Thanksgiving, we are now closed all week. When students leave tomorrow afternoon, they will not return until Monday, December 2, 2024. We hope that everyone has a wonderful break full of delicious food and time with family!


It’s time for the Bowers PTO Penny Wars Fundraiser! Students, bring in your pennies (or other change) and place it in your classroom’s bucket. The class with the highest total at the end of the week will win a prize! The fundraiser ends on Friday, so bring in those coins!


Tomorrow, Friday, November 15, 2024, is "Fill It Ip Friday"! All of our food drive boxes have been emptied, and students are encouraged to bring in items to refill their boxes tomorrow. Don't forget what your child's grade level is asked to bring in. Kindergarten is bringing in sweet treats, grades 1 and 2 are bringing in dry goods, and grades 3-5 are bringing in canned food items. Thank you so much for helping families with our school! We appreciate your generous donations!


Students riding Bus 91/6 will be arriving about 30 minutes late this afternoon. Students are waiting safely at the school but will be arriving home later than usual. Thank you!


Don't forget to wear red, white, and blue to honor our veterans tomorrow! Also, we are collecting items until November 20 for our annual Food Drive.
