While students were enjoying a day off, our elementary school teachers and staff were touring nuclear industry partners across Oak Ridge to explore how they can help prepare students for future careers in the nuclear field. Roane County Schools is proud to offer this experience to teachers at all grade levels across our district as we invest in preparing the future workforce right here in Roane County.
We extend our sincere thanks to TRISO-X and ORAU for generously sponsoring lunch for our teachers and supporting this valuable professional learning opportunity. #CTEMonth
