Roane County Schools and Midway High School are proud to announce Whitney Moore as the next principal at Midway High School. Whitney has dedicated the past 15 years to serving Midway students and families and brings a strong passion for student success and school community to this leadership role.
“I am honored and excited to step into the role of Principal at Midway High School. As a graduate of MHS, I do not take for granted the opportunity to continue serving this school and this community.
I have spent the past 15 years at Midway. For 11 years, I had the privilege of teaching at MHS, and for the past 4 years, I have served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.
Midway High School is filled with incredible students, families, faculty, and staff. I am grateful to work alongside this group of educators as we continue building strong relationships, maintaining a safe environment, and providing students with a high-quality education that prepares students for success after graduation.
We will continue striving for excellence in academics, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities while ensuring students feel supported, challenged, and believed in each day they walk through our doors.
I am thankful for the opportunity and excited for what lies ahead.
