At CMS we strive for excellence. We don’t expect students to be perfect; we expect them to be excellent. Excellence is determined by each individual’s personal best. When you perform your best, your best keeps getting better and better, and it results in excellence. You can and you will be successful if you choose to be.

We also believe that we must act with integrity and self-control and take responsibility for our actions. We are a School Wide Positive Behavior School. Our goal with SWPBS is to improve student academic and behavioral outcomes in order to ensure that all students have access to the most effective and accurately implemented instructional and behavioral practices and interventions possible.

Here are a few points of advice for our students that may be appropriate:

First, use each day at CMS to learn and be prepared by being responsible.
Second, respect yourself, other students, faculty, staff, and administrators with whom you share CMS.
Third, learn to accept each student here as a “friend whom you have not met” and treat others in the way that you would want to be treated.
