iPad Procedures

With over 1,000 iPads distributed across the county, we use a management system called Lightspeed, which allows the Technology Department to update devices, push out educational apps, and locate our iPads throughout the system.  Using Lightspeed also ensures that we are utilizing apps and accompanying licenses correctly.  
 
Setup
iPads are setup at the district Technology office and delivered by our technicians once they have been inventoried and setup in our management system.
 
iTunes Accounts
We ask that teachers do not sign in to multiple devices with an iTunes account; please reserve that sign in for your staff device.  
 
App Requests
If at any time teachers want FREE apps pushed to classroom iPads, please email Emily Lovin using the following guidelines:
1. Use an email subject line “App Request”.
2. Include the name of EACH of the iPads to which you want the app pushed, unless you have a cart, then please specify. To find this info, go to "Settings", "General", and "About".
3. List the apps you want pushed out. Be specific; include the app developer if possible. A link to the iTunes Store would also be helpful.
Paid apps require a Purchase Order; please contact Shannon Kamer for an app "quote".
 
Available Apps
