It takes a lot of work to put together a conference for 700 people, and there’s always something that gets left off the list and forgotten. 25 people stopped in a session for a learning tool called Osmo, which works with an iPad...and no one was there to teach the session. No Osmos were available for teachers to experiment with and explore. With an “I got this!” attitude, Harriman Middle School student Zoe Abernathy jumped in, took the class over, set up the equipment, and shared her love of technology and the Osmo with over 50 educators throughout the day! She was at HHS the evening before for several hours helping with setup and making sure everything was perfect for the conference. Thank you, Zoe!
