School Meals Are Nutritious!

Welcome to Roane County School Nutrition.

The school cafeterias serve meals to Roane County students, staff and occasional visitors as a part of USDA’s National School Lunch and Breakfast Program.  Well balanced school meals offer students milk, fruits, vegetables, proteins and grains to provide them with all the nutrition they need to succeed at school.  Now is a great time to encourage students to choose school meals!

I want to thank each and every one of you for visiting the Roane County School Nutrition website.  This site will give you the opportunity to look at the monthly lunch and breakfast menus as well as to see what’s new in School Nutrition.  There is a link to “Meal Pay Plus” which will allow you to use “My Payments Plus” and register to view your child’s account activity and to make payments for meals.

Applications for free and reduced price meals are available to all students. Your child may be eligible depending on household income and size.  Families currently receiving benefits from the State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services may qualify automatically and would receive a letter of notification directly from the School Nutrition office.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me by e-mail or phone and I will be happy to assist you.

Thanks,

Linda L. Wilson
